Seismic Upgrading in an Occupied Building

As part of the seismic improvement program for the Cime Bianche apartment building in Turin, Caminiti Costruzioni installed a high-performance steel exoskeleton along two façades of the structure, working entirely from the exterior to maintain full habitability throughout the project. In collaboration with INCOSER S.r.l. and with technical support from HILTI, the team adopted an advanced anchoring system featuring HIT-RE500 V4 epoxy resin. This solution delivered superior mechanical performance while optimizing time and cost compared to the original design, showcasing a forward-thinking approach to seismic engineering and project efficiency.
