Palazzo Ricca di Coassolo

The restoration of Palazzo Ricca di Coassolo in Turin highlights Caminiti Costruzioni’s expertise in preserving historic architecture. This 18th-century landmark, designed in 1729 by Filippo Juvarra and protected by the Superintendence for Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape, underwent a conservative refurbishment of its two street-facing façades and the elegant wooden carriage entrance gate. The intervention enhanced the building’s heritage value while respecting its original artistic identity.

A closer look at the building reveals two cannonballs still embedded in its façade, likely dating back to the bombardments of May 26, 1799. These remarkable traces of history now stand as powerful symbols of Turin’s resilience, preserving the memory of a city that endured and prevailed through the military conflicts of that era.
